YMCA of Greater Flint Foundation

Little-One-Jumping

The YMCA of Greater Flint Foundation was formed in 1996 with initial funding of 8 million dollars to ensure ongoing funding and operation by providing the YMCA with a firm financial base for the future. The foundation will perpetuate and guarantee the Flint YMCA’s future ability to serve youth, teens, adults, families, and seniors throughout the community.

The mission of the Flint YMCA Foundation is to support the programs, projects, growth, and development of the Flint YMCA so it can better serve the community. Gifts to the Flint YMCA Foundation have been carefully preserved and allocated for projects and enhancements.

Over the past nine years, the Foundation has grown as a result of generous, forward-thinking leaders who saw the wisdom of setting aside funds so they could be invested, grow, and create income to enable YMCA leaders to serve the Flint community in the future.

Gifts to the foundation – no matter how large or small – will earn many times their original value, through the lives positively impacted through the YMCA mission and programs.
