Power Scholars Academy
Is your child struggling with math or reading? Boost your child’s academic skills, social-emotional learning and physical wellness with this FREE afterschool program. Worried that your child is falling behind because of Covid? This fun program includes daily instruction in academics & enrichment activities. Also includes Family Fun nights to get the whole family excited about learning! For students in the 3rd and 4th grade.

Registration is as easy as 1-2-3!
Step 1: Follow the link to sign up as a community member. Community membership is free and allows you to sign up for Power Scholars Academy but not use the fitness centers. Current Y members skip to step 2.
Step 2: Register for your program! Search under programs for Power Scholars Academy. Sign up your 3rd and 4th Graders!
Step 3: We will see your student on October 3 for the beginning of a fun journey of learning and achievement!
Winter Session Available! Can’t attend the Fall session? We will be offering the program during Winter 2023, however priority will be given to students who sign up for the Fall session.
Power Scholars Academy is provided at no cost due to the generous support of the Flint Kid Funds of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and the Genesee Health Mileage.
